And another weekend bites the dust. This weekend was filled with lots of excitement with my friends from grad school, aka MGDUBS.
Friday we saw the Bounty Hunter, which I would recommend. I mean, how can it be bad with Gerard Butler in it? And, I also got a super cute new cell phone, which I think annoys Nolan because now when I text I tend to make keyboard noises now. Weird. The movie was followed by meeting Mr. & Mrs. Woeste, whom I've really missed seeing!
Literacy in the Park kicked off our MGDUBS reunion on Saturday. There we searched for baby Hendy and were not successful, and were bummed. We got autographs from the Brod Baggert and listened to his presentation. Best part of the day was when Betsy told him that we had met him before at IRA in Arizona. "You probably don't remember us, but we met you last year at IRA." Brod, "Yea, I remember you, you were the girls who made me wear heart shaped sunglasses for a picture!" HAHAHA How awesome is that!! We ate yummy mexican food (except erick who ate a cheesburger instead) and caught up with our busy lives for most of the afternoon. The day eventually turned into night, and lots of dancing, singing, hair shaking, and jai hoing was done. The night was a success. Seeing all of you reminded me how much fun I had in grad school, and how great our friendships are. I miss you already!
