Welp, summer of 2010, you've been a great one! This summer has gone by so quickly. The wedding flew by, and I keep thinking I wish I could go back and do it again and again, because it was so fun! The only thing left to do now is finish up thank yous, and those are NOT fun! Oh well, it has to be done, right? Although, there are so many weddings coming in the next year to look forward too! Doug & Carrie, Amy & John, J-Coop & Nile, Megan & Brett, Callie & Rob. I'm sure there will be some more added in there too, These will be especially fun because you just get to show up, and not do all the worrying!
I can't believe I head back to school tomorrow! We have teacher work day, then inservice day, then Wednesday is my last official day of Summer 2010. On Thursday, I get my brand new baby kindergartners in all their glory. I sure hope none of them start eating their lunch at 8:45 like last year, but am not looking forward to the constant "is it time to go home yet" question. They'll start asking at 9:00, after being in school for a whole half hour. I am excited to be able to know what to expect and what is coming up after having my first year under my belt. I feel much more relaxed and prepared now as opposed to last year at this time. So reassuring!
Is it sad that I'm already looking forward to Christmas break to head to sunny Florida? Or that I am attempting to plan a fun trip next summer for our one year anniversary? I guess I just love vacations! Enjoy the rest of summer, all!
i can't wait for my new babies either...but i can also stand to go without the "is it time to go home yet?" comments.
