I love President's Day. I get the day off from teaching, and can spend the day doing things I normally can't do on a weekday. I did some odds and ends around the house, and then went shopping with my mom and bought a cute topper for my wedding cake. What a wonderful Monday. I also received a Valentine's Day package courtesy of UPS.. Pink Ugg boots from Nolan. Best day ever.
Over the weekend we went taste testing for our wedding food, and it was delicious! We are having chicken in a white sauce with seafood, steak medallions, stuffed shells with Alfredo sauce, cheese ravioli, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn casserole, rolls, and salad. And, drum roll please, an ice cream sundae bar. Would you expect anything else from me;) So excited for all this yummy food! Next up, tasting cakes for a small one for us to cut!
