Weekend Recap

Man the weekends go by so quickly. As much as I love being in school, I love relaxing on the weekends. Why can't the weekends last just a little bit longer? My mom told me about schools in Michigan having 4 day school weeks in which they added two extra hours a day, and in turn they get to have three day weekends. I think that this sounds like an awesome idea.

Anyhow, this weekend was another fun-filled weekend. Friday I had a mini girls night with Amy in which we ate stuffed breadsticks (YUM!)and caught up. Sometimes I forget how much I need the occasional girls night.

Then on Saturday, my family went to Maumee Bay for the night as a Christmas present from my grandparents. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, everyone packed up for the day. It was fun to get away for awhile and catch up with family while talking, eating, and playing euchre. As a tradition, my Grandma gives each granddaughter a Barbie for almost every holiday. I have a million barbies in my collection now. However, this Valentine's Day barbie looks like she had plastic surgery. Barbie has gotten sluttier since I was a kid..


Busy week coming up with after school tutoring, spring conferences, wedding dress fittings, and marriage counseling. Man, I can't wait for life to slow down this summer..
