To another good year!

So it's been way to long since my last blog. My new years resolution for this year is going to be to TRY to blog more. I always have these great intentions of blogging, and then end up on facebook instead... Weird, right?

So my last blog was right before Thanksgiving. Here's a brief recap of my whereabouts the last month:

  • My 25th birthday celebration at Maumee Bay State Park. (Yes, I did just say 25, man I'm getting old. Next year I'll be in my late twenties, yikes!)
  • Amy and John's winter wedding extravaganza complete with a photo booth. Super cool.
  • .Watching the Polar Express at school, 4 times. The first half twice (once with each class) and then the second half twice.  Holy Polar Express, that is plenty of that movie for me for this year. The kids really loved their hot chocolate and jammies. (and so did I!)
  • Two Christmas parties at school, lots of gifts. The parents spoiled me this year! Including a super fun 31 lunch bag!
  • Friends Christmas party at our house complete with board games and a white elephant exchange. Good food, good company, good time.
  • Making a million Christmas cookies with my mom, aunt, and grandma. Complete with my mom's obsessive compulsiveness and avoiding frosting the cookies.
  • TWO WHOLE WEEKS OFF OF SCHOOL!
  • Bargain shopping in Columbus. I now love the Eddie Bauer outlet store.
  • Many, many Christmas celebrations and parties.
  • Our first Chrismas as hubby and wifey with lots of cute decorations and outside winter icicle lights!
  • Lots of great presents--Longaberger baskets, Just Dance for the Wii, Christmas dishes, clothes, purses, games, Pandora charms, and a brand spanking new Kindle. It's awesome. You should try it out.
  • A week vacation in sunny Florida. Not always warm, but it was always sunny. I did get to lay out two days however the trip mainly consisted of shopping and eating. With a little bowling and gambling. I did win $115 at the Monopoly slot machine, which went to good use at the outlets that we went to!
  • New Years was also spent in Florida, and we did it like true Floridians. Early bird dinner, ice cream, a movie, and watching the ball drop. Relaxing.
I promise to try to do this more often so my posts are short and sweet not long and drawn out. Back to reality tomorrow with 20 kindergartners wanting to tell me everything Santa brought them.

Happy New Year everyone. Make 2011 one to remember.
