So much free time!

Well on this snow day, once again I had plenty of free time. I finished watching the rest of the episodes of The Secret Life of the American teenager, graded some papers, ran, and baked & cooked. It was another successful snow day.

First I made a tasty dessert. Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie Bars. YUM! I went though http://www.allrecipes.com to find a cookie recipe with marshmallow in it. This one was a hit. I love that website, so many recipes to choose from!

Got to use my kitchen aid again. Glorious!

My favorite part about baking is definitely licking the spoon and eating any leftover dough! Delish!

Ah, perfection. So tasty!

For dinner, I made shepherd's pie and crescent rolls. The pie was super easy. Ground beef on the bottom seasoned with taco seasoning, then a layer of shredded cheese, a layer of corn, and a layer of mashed potatoes. Pretty yummy meal. Sorry, I did not make the crescent rolls though. Pillsbury all the way! (so much easier from the tube!)

Cooking is so much more enjoyable when you don't have to rush home from work to do it. Don't you agree?!

Side note: How cute is this vase? Nolan's aunt got it for us. Love it!

Here's hoping that tomorrow we only have a delay so I can get back to work! (is it weird that I said that?) Mainly because I REALLY, REALLY don't want to have any more make up days. I guess it is what it is. Not much I can do about mother nature...
