Another St. Patty's Day is here again this year. With it it brings beautiful weather, 70 degrees!! It was awesome. However, I know it is unusual and not to expect it daily now.
In St. Patty's day past, I have been out and about, however never drinking green beer. Yuck. I hate beer. This year consists of teaching all day and coming home and cooking and relaxing. My how things change after college is over. Enjoy it while you can all you college hooligans. And really, how disgusting is kegs and eggs anyways. Sick. I've always thought that, even when I was in college. Who wants to get up and drink beer before the sun is up? I've always passed on that weird St. Patty's day tradition and always will.
I think searching for the leprechaun like my students wanted to is way more fun anyways. Guess that's why I'm a kindergarten teacher instead of... well a college student? Or those creepy old people who won't let it go and still show up at kegs and eggs...
Hope you all find the leprechaun today. You know if you catch him he is supposed to give you all his gold. Or so the story goes on this weird holiday.
